I have worked for two separate newspapers in two educational institutions. I have also worked as a marketing assistant and a designer. I use Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to create visually effective prints for a wide variety of audiences.

The Federation of Students (WUSA)

While working for the Federation of Students (now WUSA at the University of Waterloo), I designed for a whole range of print purposes. I worked primarily for the commercial services, which included a restaurant, a bubble tea stall, a convenience store, and a cafe.

an eye on the audience.

To be able to create relevant and exciting materials for a variety of promotions was always an interesting and fulfilling challenge. It was also generally fun to be able to incorporate everybody’s favorite popular culture references whenever possible, especially when it elicited a smile. All within proper branding parameters, of course.

The Forum

The Newspaper of St. John’s University School of Law. I was the Presentation Director from 2018-2021.

Imprint

The newspaper of the University of Waterloo. I was the Creative Director from 2016-2017. I also worked as a Photo Editor.
